Sheikh Belal Assaad was born in Williamstown, Melbourne, Australia. He started his Islamic studies at a very early age and acquired his Shariah knowledge in Lebanon; and continued tertiary education in Bio-Medical Science in Australia.

eikh Belal has been offering his service to the Australian Muslim community (specially in Melbourne area) for many years and has been working with the Islamic Society of Victoria for over ten years.

Some of Sheikh Belal's services include translating several texts from Arabic to English; Many years of public realtions work with State Goverment Departments, local councils and the Victoria Police Department in Australia for the benefit of the Muslim Community.

He had delivered some inspiring lectures in Australia and in several other countries
