It is highly regrettable that every year controversy continues to prevail over Hajj which is the fifth obligation in Islam.  It is also unfortunate that certain parties look upon Hajj as lucrative money making venture rather than a service to the Muslim Ummah. Most certainly, cheating, deceiving, breaking pledges with regard to a noble Islamic ritual might infuse wrath of Allah.

Hajj issue which never was commendable has become even worse this year and understandably Muslims are enraged over this situation. It is a sad irony, that the very Hajj that is a hallmark of global Islamic unity has become instrumental in creating rage and anxiety among Muslims of our country. ACJU is of the firm stand that deplorable acts of commercializing a noble religious rite such as the Hajj cannot be tolerated.

Muslims of this country witnessed another repulsive development in the scuffle of certain parties who attempt to cash in on Hajj pilgrimage when they shamelessly sought the assistance of some factions that have earned notoriety for being enemies of Islam and Muslims instead of taking the issue to judiciary or working out a way to solve the issue in a social level. This action is not only highly deplorable but also should be sternly denounced.

Therefore, ACJU appeals to everyone concerned to fear Allah and that travel operators and those who are in responsible seats who has the authority to regulate the pilgrimage should ascertain that the sanctity of Hajj is not spoiled by imprudent actions.
