The more evils will open up before them

"The more people increase in comfort and luxury and the more they open up before the people , the more evils will open up before them. It is comfort and luxury that destroys a person. Because if a person was to concern himself with comfort and luxury and providing enjoyment to his body, he will become negligent of providing enjoyment to his heart, and his greatest worry will become providing enjoyment to this body that is doomed to become worms and rotten.

This is the ordeal, and this is what has harmed people today. You can hardly find anyone except that they say: "What is our palace? What is our car? What is our furniture? What is our food?" Even those who study knowledge, some of them only study in order to gain rank or status to reach the blessings of the Dunya. As if man was not created for a significant purpose. The Dunya and its blessings are only a means, nothing more. We ask Allah to make us and you use it as a means.

A wise Scholar said: "A person should use money as he uses a donkey to ride, and as he uses the toilet to relieve himself."

These are the ones who know money and its value. So do not make money your greatest worry, rather ride on money, for if you do not ride on it, it will ride on you, and your worry will become the Dunya.

For this, we say, that the more the Dunya opens up before the people, and they end up concerning themselves with it, they will lose as much of the Akhira as they have gained from the Dunya. The Prophet Salla Allahou Alayhi wa salam said: "By Allah, I am not afraid of your poverty," meaning I am not afraid of poverty for you, for the Dunya will open up before you, "but I am afraid that you will lead a life of luxury as past nations did, whereupon you will compete with each other for it, as they competed for it, and it will destroy you as it destroyed them." [Bukhari & Muslim].

The Messenger Salla Allahou Alayhi wa salam spoke the truth. This is what has destroyed the people today. What has destroyed the people today, is their competing with one another for the Dunya, and them being as if they were only created for it, and not it created for them. So they have preoccupied themselves with what was created for them over what they were created for. This is backwardness. We ask Allah for protection."

Minister Mervyn Silva should correct himself first before making allegations against others, the General Secretary of Bodu Bala Sena Ven. Galagodaatte Gnanasara Thera said today.

“We would like to invite Minister Silva to set himself right and then to correct his son instead of accusing others,” the Thera told a news conference as a response to a question posed by media.

Earlier, during a meeting with the Mahanayakes Minister Silva had criticised the language used by BBS monks in the recent past. The Thera said that they knew how to approach and use language suitable for different factions.

“We know which language to use when talking to humans, gods and criminals,” he said. “There have been court jesters like Andere by the side of Kings in history. They keep entertaining people. The history is repeating itself,” the Thera said.

2014 ஆகஸ்ட் 04ஆம் திகதி சுமார் 150 பேர் தெஹிவளை எஸ்.டி.எஸ். ஜயசிங்க மண்டபத்தில் கூடியதாகவும் முஸ்லிம் பெண்களின் ஆடைகள், முஸ்லிம் சமய, கலாசார நடைமுறைகள் பள்ளிவாசல்கள் போன்ற முஸ்லிம்களுடன் மட்டுமே தொடர்பான விடயங்கள் பகிரங்கமாக தகாதவாறு விமர்சிக்கப்பட்டு பரிகசிக்கப்பட்டதாகவும் தேசிய ஷூறா (ஆலோசனைச்) சபை அறிந்தது.

தேசிய ஷூறா சபையுடன் பகிர்ந்துகொள்ளப்பட்ட தகவல்களின் பிரகாரம், இந்நாட்டின் சட்டங்களுக்கு முரணான தீவிரவாத கருத்துகளைக் கொண்ட சில பௌத்த பிக்குகள் உரையாற்றிய இக்கூட்டத்தில் 75 இற்கும் மேற்பட்ட மதிப்புக்குரிய பௌத்த பிக்குகள் சமுகமளித்திருந்தனர். வழக்கத்துக்கு மாறான இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் பங்குபற்றிய 90%இற்கும் அதிகமானவர்கள் முஸ்லிம்களுடனும் ஏனைய சமூகத்தினருடனும் சமாதானமாகவும் ஐக்கியமாகவும் வாழ்கின்ற பௌத்தர்களாவர். இந்து, கிறிஸ்தவ மற்றும் முஸ்லிம் சமூகங்களைச் சேர்ந்தவர்கள் என கூறிக்கொள்ளும் சிலரும் சமுகமளித்து உரையாற்றியுள்ளனர். நாட்டின் சட்டத்தின் பல ஏற்பாடுகளுக்கு முரணாக நான்கு பௌத்த பிக்குகளால் ஆற்றப்பட்ட உரைகள் முஸ்லிம்களுக்கும் இஸ்லாத்துக்கும் எதிராக வெறுப்பையும் அவமதிப்பையும் தூண்டுபவையாக இருந்ததாகவும் நாம் அறிகின்றோம்.

இது ஒரு பரஸ்பர கூட்டம் அல்ல. சமய புரிந்துணர்வையும் சகிப்புத்தன்மையையும் மேம்படுத்தும் ஒரு கூட்டமாகவும் தெரியவில்லை. அது மனிதர்கள் ஒருவருக்கொருவர் கண்ணியமளிக்கும் சம சந்தர்ப்பத்தைக் கொண்ட ஒரு கூட்டமாக இருந்திருந்தால், பேச்சுவார்த்தைகள் ஊடாக உண்மையான அல்லது உணரப்பட்ட துன்பங்களுக்கு நிவாரணம் நாடும் அத்தகைய ஒரு பரஸ்பர கலந்தாராய்வை ஊக்குவிப்பதற்கும் ஆதரவளிப்பதற்கும் தேசிய ஷூறா சபை ஒரு போதும் தயங்காது.

துரதிஷ்டவசமாக, ஆகஸ்ட் 4ஆம் திகதி தெஹிவளையில் நடைபெற்ற கூட்டம் இந்நிகழ்ச்சியை ஒழுங்கு செய்தவர்களின் பிழையான கோரிக்கைகளுக்கு முஸ்லிம்கள் இணங்காவிட்டால், முஸ்லிம்களுக்கு எதிரான வன்முறையைத் தூண்டுவதற்கு வழிசமைக்கும் என நாம் நம்புகின்றௌம். ஒரு பௌத்த பிக்கு நீங்கலாக, அந்தக் கூட்டத்தின் பிரதான பேச்சாளர்கள் இஸ்லாத்தைப் பற்றியும் முஸ்லிம்களைப் பற்றியும் தமக்குப் போதிய அறிவில்லை என்னும் பாரிய குறைபாட்டை வெளிப்படுத்தியதனால் நாம் எமது அக்கறையைத் தெரிவிக்கின்றோம்.

சூதாட்டக் கொட்டில்கள், தவறணைகள், மதுபான சாலைகள், சட்டவிரோத போதைப்பொருட்கள், கசினோக்கள், விபசார விடுதிகள் போன்றவற்றின் பரவலான பெருக்கத்தினால் எல்லா இலங்கை மக்களும் துன்புறும் பொதுவான துன்ப,துயரங்களைப் பற்றி இந்தக் கூட்டத்தில் எவ்வித கலந்துரையாடலும் நடைபெறாமை வியப்புக்குரியதாகும்.

முஸ்லிம்களையும் இஸ்லாமிய நடைமுறைகளையும் பகிரங்கமாகத் தாக்கி விமர்சிக்கும் தெஹிவளையில் இடம்பெற்ற இந்தக் கூட்டம் கல்கிசை சிரேஷ்ட பொலிஸ் அத்தியட்கசரின் முன்னெடுப்பின் பிரகாரம் அவரால் ஒழுங்குபடுத்தப்பட்டு அதற்கு அவர் தலைமை வகித்ததாகவும் அங்கிருந்த பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு அவர் உரையாற்றியதாகவும் மிகுந்த வேதனையுடன் தேசிய ஷூறா சபை அறிகின்றது.

நாட்டிலுள்ள பெரும்பான்மையான பௌத்தர்களிடையே தனிச்சிறப்பு வாய்ந்த பொலிஸ் திணைக்களம் தீவிரவாதிகளுக்குக் களம் அமைக்கும் சட்டவிரோத முன்னெடுப்பை மேற்கொண்டு சட்டங்களையும், சர்வதேச ஒப்பந்தங்களையும் நன்கு தாபிக்கப்பட்ட கோட்பாடுகள் மற்றும் நடைமுறைகளையும் மீறி முஸ்லிம்களின் வாழ்க்கை முறையைக் கட்டுப்படுத்துவதில் மேற்கொண்ட வகிபாத்திரத்தையிட்டு நாம் மிகுந்த அக்கறை கொண்டுள்ளோம்.

நாட்டில் உள்ள தேசிய மட்ட முஸ்லிம் அமைப்புகள், உயர்தொழில்துறையினர், கல்விமான்கள் மற்றும் செயற்பாட்டாளர்களைக் கொண்ட மன்றமாகிய தேசிய ஷூறா சபையின் 5-7 உறுப்பினர்களைக் கொண்ட ஒரு குழு இவ்விடயம் பற்றி தங்களுடன் கலந்துரையாடுவதற்கு முடியுமானவரை விரைவில் வாய்ப்பளிப்பீர்களாயின் மிகவும் மகிழ்ச்சியடைவோம்.

මාධ්‍ය වෙත අදහස් පල කරමින් රදගුරුතුමන් මෙසේද අදහස් දක්වා තිබේ.

‘රට සහ හමුදාව මා පාවාදුන්නේ කාටද යන්න සම්බන්ධයෙන් බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානයේ නියෝජිතයින් පැහැදිලි කළ යුතුය. මුස්ලිම් සහ දෙමළ ජනතාව වෙත ජාතිවාදය මුදාහරිමින් සිටින බොදු බල සේනා ඇතුළු සංවිධාන, ආගමේ නාමයෙන් සිදුකරමින් සිටින ප්‍රචණ්ඩ කටයුතු සහ කුරිරුකම් නතර කිරීම තුලින් මෙරටෙහි සාමය, සංහිදියාව සහ ජාතීන් අතර සුහදතාවය ඇතිකල හැකිය.

සත්‍ය පවසන්නන්, යුක්තිය සඳහා සටන්කරන්නන් අත් අඩංගුවට ගත යුතුනම් මෙරටෙහි සත්‍ය සහ යුක්තිය ආරක්ෂා කරන්නේ කවුද? සිංහල බෞද්ධ රට යනුවෙන් ජාතිවාදය වපුරමින් සිටින බොදු බල සේනා ඇතුළු සංවිධාන වල නියෝජිතයින්න රජය අත් අඩංගුවට නොගන්නේ ඇයි?

ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවට එරෙහිව කථා කරන පුද්ගලයින් අත් අඩංගුවට නොගන්නේ ඇයි? මෙරට සියළු ආගම් වලට සමව ගරුකල යුතු බවත් ආරක්ෂා කල යුතු බවත් ශ්‍රී ලංකා ආණ්ඩුක්‍රම ව්‍යවස්ථාවෙන් පෙන්වාදී තිබියදී, ශ්‍රී ලංකාව බෞද්ධ රටක් බවත්, බෞද්ධ ජනතාවට පමණක් මෙහි ජීවත්විය හැකි බවත් පවසන ජාතිවාදී සංවිධාන සම්බන්ධයෙන් අපට කල හැක්කේ කුමක්ද?

සිහංල ජාතිවාදී චින්තනයෙන් බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානය කටයුතු කරමින් සිටියි. මෙවැනි සංවිධාන කුමක් ප්‍රකාශ කලද සත්‍යයන්, අසත්‍ය වෙන්නේ නැත. අසාධාරණය සදාකාලික නොවේ. මාව අත් අඩංගුවට ගන්නා මෙන් බොදුබල සේනාව ප්‍රකාශ කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් මා කණගාටු නොවන්නෙමි. කෝප නොවන්නෙමි. මා කිසි විටෙකත් ජාතිවාදී ප්‍රතිපත්තියකින් කටයුතු කර නොමැත. කටයුතු කරන්නේද නැත. සියළු ආගම් උතුම් ලෙස සලකා මා ගෞරව කරන්නෙමි.

බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානයේ මහ ලේකම් ගලබොඩ අත්තේ ඥාණසාර හිමි මා සමග සෘජුව කථා කිරීමට කැමති නම් නිසි පිළිතුරු ලබාදීමට මා සූදානමින් සිටින්නෙමි. මා වෙත එල්ලකර ඇති චෝදනාව පැහැදිලි කර මා අපරාධයක් කලේද? රට පාවාදීමක්ද ? ඔහුට දැනගත හැකිය.

මා ආගමික වතාවත් අනුගමනය කරන සාමාන්‍ය පුදගලයෙක්මි. ක්‍රිස්තියානි ආගම පිළිබඳ අධ්‍යාපනය ලබාදෙන්නෙක්මි. මා ආගම්වාදියෙකු නොවෙමි. අවස්ථාවක් ලැබුණු විටෙක ඥාණසාර හිමි සමග සාකච්ඡා කිරීමට සූදානමින් සිටින්නෙමි. ආගමේ නාමයෙන් ජාතිවාදය වපුරන පුද්ගලයින් මෙරටෙහි මතභේද ඇති කිරීමට කටයුතු කරමින් සිටියි. ඕනෑම ආගමක්ම ඇදහීම මෙරට 100%ක් අයිතියක් ඇත. එපමණක් නොව ආගමික ප්‍රචාරය කිරීමට පෞද්ගලික අයිතියක් ඇත. එය අමතක කර , තම ආගම පමණක් පැතිරවිය යුතු බව ප්‍රකාශ කිරීම සුදුසු නොවේ’

Mahanayake of Asgiriya

KANDY – Some extremist groups might try to create incidents but they should not be allowed to lead to crisis situations, Most Venerable Mahanayake of Asgiriya Udugama Sri Buddharakkitha Thera said when the Deputy Environment Minister R. M. Abudl Cader called on him on Saturday 16.

Sri Lanka was home to all its communities and therefore all communities should live in harmony, the Mahanayake Thera noted.

There might be extremists, both racial and religious, and they might act irresponsibly, but those responsible citizens should take necessary action to maintain peace and amity without allowing such unfortunate situations to aggravate, he said.

He said communal clashes would also tarnish Sri Lanka’s image internationally. Therefore, it was incumbent upon all communities to defeat extremism and promote racial and religious amity, he said.

Most Ven. Buddharakkitha Thera said that he was aware that the Deputy Minister Cader had joined the government being satisfied with the country’s progress under the leadership of President Mahinda Rajapaksa.

Muslims had been co-existing with the majority Sinhala community throughout history and they had never supported separatism and never would they allow the dismemberment of the country, he said.

The Deputy Minister also called on Venerable, Dr. Medagama Dhammananda and Venerable Gallelle Saddhatissa, who are members of the Asgiriya Karake Sangh Sabha.

Deputy Minister Cader expressed his desire to assist the conservation of Mullegama Pansala of Asgiriya Vihare.

Sacrifice is part of nature. The excruciating pain a mother endures patiently at childbirth, the years a teacher spends in educating children, the medical personal who attend to accident scenes in the dead of night, the police who patrol the streets during odd times and extreme weather, the Mujahideen who protect the borders of Islam, the patience of innocent civilians under oppressive regimes are just but a few examples of sacrifices for humanity.

“Great achievements and happiness is the born out of sacrifice and not out of selfishness”

Sacrifice may vary in degree and form. Sometimes it may be little and at times it may be immense. It could mean surrendering some of our wealth, time or even health for the benefit of others. Sacrifice is an important part in our contribution to society.

“Sacrifice always brings joy to both the beneficiary and the giver. Sacrifice is a part of life. It's supposed to be. It's not something to regret. It's something to aspire to.”

Allah Ta’ala promises to give you back and most certainly He will increase it manifold. Allah Ta’ala says;

"Say, 'Indeed, my Lord extends provision for whom He wills of His servants and restricts (it) for him. But whatever thing you spend (give) – He will compensate it; and He is the best of Providers." (Qur’an Saba', 34:39)

The Noble Messenger of Allah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said:

"No one of you is a believer until he loves for his brother that which he loves for himself." (Hadith –Bukhari & Muslim)

There is an incident about a little girl named Ameena who was suffering from a rare and serious disease. Her only chance of recovery appeared to be a blood transfusion from her 5-year old brother Abdullah, who had miraculously survived the same disease and had developed the antibodies needed to combat the illness. The doctor explained the situation to her little brother Abdullah carefully, and asked the little boy if he would be willing to give his blood to his sister Ameena who needed it urgently to survive.

Abdullah hesitated for only a moment before taking a deep breath and saying, "Yes I'll do it, if it will save her." As the transfusion progressed, he lay in bed next to his sister and smiled, seeing that when the blood was given, colour was returning to Ameena's cheeks.

After some time Abdullah's face grew pale and his smile faded. Then Abdullah looked up at the doctor and asked with a trembling voice, "Will I start to die right away?"

Being young, the little boy had misunderstood the doctor; he thought he was going to have to give his sister Ameena all of his blood in order to save her life.

This is the ultimate in self-sacrifice where a person is willing to give his life. Daily we all face a challenge to what extent will we give. If we cannot give the ultimate, then let us at least do whatever “little” we can to bring about joy or benefit to others.

“Value and appreciate the people who sacrifice ‘something’ for you as maybe their ‘something’ was their ‘everything’ “

Piety,sacrifice and giving are all inter-related. Allah Ta’ala says;

"Never will you attain righteousness until you spend (give) from that which you love. And whatever you spend(give), indeed Allâh is Knowing of it." (Qur’an 3:92)

Sacrifice usually is accompanied by difficulty and our sincerity is put to test. It’s easy to sacrifice and give to those who give back. The real test is to give to those who can give you nothing in return. This reality is often very difficult for people to grasp, that whatever one gives or sacrifices for in a good cause is not really lost. When you sacrifice something precious, you're not really losing it. you're just passing it on to someone else and hoping for a reward from your Creator.

In fact there is a huge source of reward for the giver both in this temporary world and even more so in the Hereafter. The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) is reported to have said;

"He who removes from a believer one of his difficulties of this world, Allah will remove one of his troubles on the Day of Resurrection" (Hadith-Muslim)

Let us sacrifice our “little” for humanity, remember drops form puddles and puddles form rivers and rivers form oceans!

බොදු බල සේනාව නිසා ඉදිරියේදී රජයට බරපතල ප්‍රතිවිපාකවලට  මුහුණදීමට සිදුවනු ඇති බව දෙමළ ජාතික සන්ධානය පවසයි.

එම පක්‍ෂ පාර්ලිමේන්තු මන්ත්‍රී සෙල්වම් අඩෙයික්කලනාදන් මහතා විසින් නිකුත් කර ඇති නිවේදනයක මේ බව දැක්වේ.

එම නිවේදනය මෙසේය.

දෙමළ කථා කරන ජනතාවට එරෙහි කටයුතු වල නිරත වන සංවිධානයක් වන බොදු බල සේනා යන ජාතිවාදී සංවිධානය කටයුතු කරයි. මෙම සංවිධානය ජාතිවාදය අවුළුවන සංවිධානයක් ලෙස කටයුතු කරයි.

එම පදනමින්, මන්නාරම රදගුරු රායප්පු ජෝශෆ් පියතුමාව අත් අඩංගුවට ගත යුතුය යන ඉල්ලීම බොදු බල සේනාව කර ඇත. එම අදහස තරයේ හෙලා දැකිය යුතුය. රදගුරුවරයා, ජනතාවගේ ගැටළු නීත්‍යානුකූලව අනාවරණය කරයි. දෙමළ ජනතාවට සිදුකල කුරිරුකම්, අසාධාරණ, හමුදාව රැඳී සිටීම, මානව හිමිකම් උල්ලංඝන යනාදී ජනතාවගේ ගැටළු, ඔහු අනාවරණය කරයි. අතුරුදහන් වූවන් සම්බන්ධයෙන් සොයා බලන ජනාධිපති කොමිසම  මන්නාරමට පැමිණි අවස්ථාවේ රදගුරුවරයා තම අදහස් ප්‍රකාශ කලෙත් මේ හේතුවෙන්ය.

ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදී රටක් බව ප්‍රකාශ කරන මේ රටෙහි අදහස් ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමේදී අනාවරණය වන විකල්ප අදහස් වලට අනුව මේ රටෙහි ප්‍රජාතන්ත්‍රවාදයක් තිබෙනවාද? යන පැනය මතුවේ. මේ රටෙහි පුවත් පත් නිදහස මර්ධනය කර ඇත. අපගේ ජනතාව හමුදාව විසින් මර්ධනය කරන තත්වයක් ඇති වී ඇත.

එවන් පසුබිමකදී තම අදහස් සෘජුව ප්‍රකාශ කල රදගුරුවරයාව අත් අඩංගුවට ගත යුතුය යන ඉල්ලීම බොදු බල සේනාවේ මහ ලේකම් ගලබොඩ අත්තේ ඥානසාර හිමි ඉදිරිපත් කර ඇත.

සාධාරණව කටයුතු කරන කවරෙකු වුවත්, අපගේ ජනතාවගේ සාධාරණ ඉල්ලීම් පිළිබඳව කථා කරන කවරෙකු වුවත්, ඔවුන්ට නපුරක් සිදුවුවහොත් අපට බලා සිටිය නොහැකිය. ඒ අනුව අපගේ රදගුරුවරයාව අත් අඩංගුවට ගැනීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් බොදු බල සේනා යන සංවිධානයේ ඉල්ලීම රජය පිළිගන්නේ නම් රජයට බරපතල ප්‍රථිවිපාක වලට මුහුණදීමට සිදුවනු ඇත. උතුරු නැගෙනහිර ජනතාව කෝපයෙන් කටයුතු කරන තත්වයක් ඇති වනු ඇත. යුක්තිය වෙනුවෙන් කටයුතු කරන පුද්ගලයින්ව මර්ධනය කිරීමට සිතීම ඉතා දරුණු මානව හිමිකම් උල්ලංඝනයක් බව ප්‍රකාශ කිරීමට කැමැත්තෙමි.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලාගේ මුවින් පිටවිය යුත්තේ බුද්ධ පුත‍්‍රයාණන් වහන්සේලා ලෙස වැදගත් වචන මිස ගහනවා, මරණවා, ඔළුව පලනවා, අරු, මූ, තෝ වැනි වචන භාවිත කිරීම උචිත නොවන බව අමාත්‍ය මර්වින් සිල්වා මහතා පවසයි.

මල්වතු අස්ගිරි මහා නාහිමිවරුන්ට බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානයේ ක‍්‍රියාකාරීත්වය සම්බන්ධයෙන් කරුණු පැහැදිලි කිරීමට ඊයේ පැමිණි අමාත්‍ය කණ්ඩායම සමඟ මාධ්‍යට අදහස් දක්වමින ඔහු එසේ පැවසීය.

රජයේ අමාත්‍යවරුන් නිර්දය ලෙස විවේචනයට ලක්කරමින් බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානය විවිධ ප‍්‍රකාශ නිකුත් කිරීම සම්බන්ධයෙන් එහිදී එම අමාත්‍ය කණ්ඩායම මහානායක හිමිවරුන් දැනුවත් කළේය.

බොදු බල සේනා සංවිධානය එල්ල කළ චෝදනාව අමාත්‍ය රාජිත සේනාරත්න මහතාට පෞද්ගලිකව එල්ල කළ චෝදනාවක් ලෙස නොසලකන බවත්,එය සමස්ත අමාත්‍ය මණ්ඩලයටම එල්ල කළ චෝදනාවක් ලෙස සලසන බවත්,එම චෝදනාව මහා සංඝරත්නය විසින් එල්ල කළ චෝදනාවක් වශයෙන් සලසන බවත් ඇමතිවරයා එහිදී කීය.

භික්ෂුවක් භාවිත කළ යුත්තේ බුද්ධ දර්ශනයට අදාළ වචන බවද පැවසූ ඒ මහතා හැබිචෝල් කාරයන් ලෙස වචන භාවිතා කිරීම භික්ෂුවකට උචිත නොවන බවද පැවසීය.

භික්ෂූන් වහන්සේලා එවැනි වචන භාවිත කරන විට ජාත්‍යන්තරයට යන්නේ එම වචන බවත්,එවිට බුද්ධ ධර්මයට හානියක් සිදුවන බවද ඒ මහතා පැවැසීය.

බුදුරජාණන් වහන්සේගේ කාලයේ හයේ කල්ලිය හතේ කල්ලිය ලෙස කල්ලි තිබූ බවද පැවසූ ඒ මහතා එම කල්ලි සිදු කළේ බුදු දහමට එරෙහිව වැඩ කිරීම බවත්,ඒ නිසා තම පිරිස කරනුයේ ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේලාට එරෙහි ක‍්‍රියාවක් නොවන බවත්,උන්වහන්සේලාගේ ක‍්‍රියා කලාපයට හැසිරීමට වචන භාවිතයට එරෙහිව නැගීසිටීමක් බවද පැවසීය.

‘මේ හාමුදුරුවෝ කරන්නේ බුද්ධ ශාසනය විනාශ කරන්න කොහෙන් හෝ ලැබෙන සල්ලි ටික අරගෙන බුදු සසුනට හානි සිදු කිරීම බව’ යයිද කී අමාත්‍ය මර්වින් සිල්වා මහතා ඊට එරෙහිව මූලික අඩිතාලම දැමීමට මල්වතු අස්ගිරි මහානායක හිමිවරුන් බැහැ දැකීමට පැමිණි බවද සඳහ් කලේය.

1) Abu Darda (رضي الله عنه) reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “Nothing is weightier on the Scale of Deeds than one’s good manners.”(Al-Bukhari)

2) Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said: “The most beloved of Allah’s servants to Allah are those with the best manners.” (At-Tabarâni)

3) Abd Allah ibn ‘Amr (رضي الله عنه ) said, “Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) was never obscene or coarse. Rather, he used to tell us that the best among us were those with the best manners.” (Al-Bukhari)

4) Anas ( (رضي الله عنه) said, “I served Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) for ten years. During that time, he never once said to me as much as ‘Oof’ if I did something wrong. He never asked me, if I had failed to do something, ‘Why did you not do it?,’ and he never said to me, if I had done something wrong, ‘Why did you do it?” (Al-Bukhari)

5) Abu Hurairah ( (رضي الله عنه) said that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “If one has good manners, one may attain the same level of merit as those who spend their nights in prayer.” (Al-Bukhari)

6) Abu Hurairah reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) aid, “And what is most likely to send people to Paradise? Being conscious of Allah and good manners.” (Al-Bukhari)

7) Nawas ibn Sam’an (رضي الله عنه) reported that Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) was asked about doing good and evil. He replied, “Doing good is having good manners. Doing evil is what troubles you inside and what you would not like others to know about.” (Al-Bukhari)

8) Rasulullah ( صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ) said, “He who does not show mercy to our young or show esteem for our elders is not one of us.” (Al-Bukhari)
